New Single ‘Summertime’ and debut album ‘Promise’
Following on from the positive reaction to previous singles ‘Talk About You’ and ‘Boys’, The Maybes? are set to release 3rd single ‘Summertime’ from debut album ‘Promise’, as a digital download on 25th August 2008 and as a limited edition 7” on 1st of September 2008 through Xtra Mile Recordings.
‘Summertime’ is a heart racing anthem powered by the spirit of a wild, endless, teenage summer. With a relentless hot heeled groove and shimmering harmonies, the track climaxes in rapturous bliss. The summertime is here! The essential catalyst for a driving shot of summer high!
Released 15th September 2008, eagerly anticipated album ‘Promise’ is gathering momentum and intrigue amongst the British underground music scene. A fantastic songwriting ability has been nurtured by internationally revered producer Head, whose recorded works includes Massive Attack and PJ Harvey. ‘Promise’ is a fiery explosion of emotionally driven power pop, contemporary narrative and pure dance euphoria. Not only is this an album that delivers the bands character and energy, but also their incredible musical flair. A sonic assault to excite the senses and invigorate the psyche, a beautiful vision that does not adhere to any here-today-gone-tomorrow scene.
