Influences
We are heavily influenced by rock and synth pop from the 80's. We also like catchy tunes from the 90's and present. We like to cover tunes that you may not always hear performed by other bands. Our goal is to make you say "whoa...I remember this song, I loved it!"
The Mayfair’s music is lively, fun and familiar, with Covers of songs from the 80’s such as Cyndi Lauper, and Berlin, to present artists such as Pink, and Katy Perry There are a few unexpected liberties taken with a some of the songs. You can appreciate the music in a whole new way.
There is definitely no other Duo in Las Vegas like The Mayfairs. Fausto and Mia have instituted a new brand of entertainment with their brilliant renditions of both old and new music. Both excellent vocalists, The Mayfairs use Fausto’s spectacular guitar playing with self-produced backing tracks and excellent harmonies to achieve that full band sound. Mia fronts the band with a strikingly similar voice to the original artists. The Mayfairs perform songs that are not the same old song and dance that other bands perform. They deliver the perfect blend of up-tempo selections that turn it into a dynamic and engaging performance sure to please audiences of all ages.
