Now on the the SPOTLIGHT!
MUSIC Spotlight guest Billy Mallery
I am featuring Billy Mallery. I want to Spotlight Billy Mallery and thank him for his tremendous talent. If you haven't heard of him he is the guy responsible for the eerie music playing when you visited this site. His Haunted World Soundscape cd is absolutely perfect for setting the kind of mood for crapping your pants. It's the best pick for your Halloween party or any other freaky get together. You probably freaked out a bit when you heard it play. Don't get me wrong, he does plenty of other things as well.
Billy Mallery is an independent artist and also belongs with the group HOVER. He did the scores for LIONSGATE's recent logos: HEROIC and HORROR. If you're a Halo fan (and even if you're not) he did the trailer music for Halo 2. He also did the soundtrack for the recent movie The Islander. The guy composed and arranged the music for the Hyatt "Destinations" commercials and did some stuff for Rogue Pictures. He worked with big name directors such as Michael Bay, Mark Pellington, and Zack Snyder, just to name a few. Yep, all by the same guy.
So please, do yourself a big favor and check out this versatile musician. Go here www.billymallery.com
When you visit let him know that Daniel introduced you!
Do you want to be in the MUSIC Spotlight? If you have something creepy, eerie, or kick-ass send me a message and you can join the elite group of guests on this page. Just say I WANT TO BE FEATURED ON YOUR MUSIC SPOTLIGHT in the title of the message so I won't think your spam. I can’t believe you’re not here already. Come on!!!
Now on to some more mood setters, in my opinion.

NOW AT LONG LAST, ON TO THE STORY...
Conductor O'Shay is a fantastic read, with characters anyone could quickly become enthralled with. This is a perfect example of something that packs small but plays big. Well done Daniel, looking forward to more from you!" - Joe Riggs, Mental Magician/Paranormal Photographer.

"I've read your short story Conductor O' Shay and have to say I was compelled to read, and read.
It kept my interest. It was full of detail and action.
I liked it very, very, much. The characters were people who I could relate to. Just the whole story of the ghosts together afraid of one bad spirit and how good versus evil and how good prevailed was great. I would definitely buy and read other books and short stories you write.
Loved it. Keep up the great work." -
Deborah Ward /Founder of W.I.P.A. Women Investigating Paranormal Activity

"Conductor O' Shay is a witty romp through a paranormal adventure. With quick wit and humorous insight Daniel Morrison pens a wonderful story well worth your time to read it. I highly recommend picking up a copy."

THE LATEST EPISODE in The McAllister Twins has the team investigating sightings of demonic ghosts, children, and the spirit of train conductor, William O'Shay whose infamous illegal firearms distribution came to an abrupt end one fateful night when the train exploded, leveling several city blocks.
However, there is more than meets the eye. By the team combining their unique paranormal gifts such as communicating with the dead, telepathy, white magic, and special cameras the team discovers the truth of what happened that fateful night and just why Conductor O'Shay can not rest his soul.
If you would like to know more please see the blog at the top of the page titled Conductor O'Shay. Read an excerpt from the novel under the blog EXCERPT from CONDUCTOR O'SHAY or
If you want to order a copy of this wildly popular story online, click HERE
To find out more about the team please keep reading.
Welcome to the famous Paranormal investigators,
The McAllister Twins. Their team uses their unique gifts to focus on the violent hauntings that are not normally known to the public in order to send all entities involved to a final resting place.
The reason to film these is not for monetary gain but to raise the spiritual awareness of the public so that if they encounter a violent spirit they might be able to send the spirits to a final resting place as well.
What makes them so unique? Glad you asked.
Jodi McAllister can communicate with the deceased. She uses her talents to focus specifically on those who have not made it entirely into the afterlife.
Micah McAllister can move objects with his mind. His telekinetic abilities are responsible for protecting the team from physical attacks from the more violent entities that the team encounters regularly.
Adelia Eikholtz is a Wiccan who uses her spells and magik to help protect the team from the darker entities they encounter on a regular basis.
Eric Koltz is the cousin to the McAllister twins. He is currently inventing new technology to aid in the capture of evidence that ghosts and spirits exist. The team doesn't know it but he uses suggestions from his own personal ghost.
Ron and Paul are the two camera guys. Ron builds a loose script for the show to follow to make sense to the audience. Paul has good director skills. Ironically, the pair are scared to death of the paranormal.
Feel free to wander around the site to find the newest adventures of the McAllister team or peek into the biographies of each member.
All of these can be found under the Blogs section at the top of the page. Click on your heart's desire.
While you're here check out the links to real paranormal investigators and find out what "real life" paranormal investigators go through and what mysterious things they encounter.

OK, so if you are into paranormal you've got to be into horror as well, right? It's true in
my case at least. Therefore, I like to keep my eyes open for people in the field of
entertainment to thrill you and give you something cool to spend your time with. Alas, I
have found someone I really would like to introduce you. Her name is LAURA SELI and
horror is her game, or job rather. Laura is a jack of all trades much like myself, only
better. She is a Screenwriter and Executive Producer for all of her films. In her case she
is no slacker. Like a nanny who cares about her responsibilities she designs all of the
characters' make-up, costumes, all props, most of the effects, the casting, securing the
locations, supplying all food/beverage/cigarettes, filmed second unit, and completely funded
both films. She does it all with passion, style and grace. Her resume includes films such
as SABBATH and DREAD: RECKONING,. So what, you ask? How dare you. Allow me
to fill you in on what you should not go without experiencing. Some people automatically
ridicule films and such based on budgets. Those who can look past that and enjoy a unique
story and creative ideas to put something together are the real winners. So if there are
any hater remarks, leave those to the side until after you've seen the movie. My favorite
is Dread: The Reckoning so we'll check out at the unique film, Sabbath
first.
Sabbath is a cool take on a casserole of demons, angels, horror, blood, screams and a
little something known as the Apocalypse. Unlike most Midwest summer days this story goes
from serene to hell in the blink of a ripped apart eye. In fact, I quote from their press
release that gets you wanting more, "...visions of demons, angels and the walking dead
signal the start of the Apocalypse! A small group of survivors are left fending for
themselves as they await their fate…When the last soul enters Heaven and the first sinner is
shut out of Hell…the Apocalypse begins!" Ask yourself this, "What would happen if you
were the last to die before Judgment Day? How
would you react to seeing demons, death and the walking dead?" Once you've asked those
questions check out the movie and see how you compare.
Not only is this a cool concept, it's put together well too. Add to it a cast that includes
the 1978 "Dawn of the Dead" actor, David Crawford, and you'll wanna make sure you have
enough popcorn so you won't have to go for seconds. You can also witness the skills of the
other cast members: Bobby Williams, Ashley Gallo, Cory Wiseberger, Rob Holmes, Cheyenne
Stewart, and Ralph Butler. Check out the trailer
Sabbath is signed to Brain Damage Films and is out now on DVD! It's good enough
to be found at Netflix.com, Amazon.com, CD Universe.com, Blockbuster.com and at
BrainDamageFilms.com. To give you more information check out these links
Now if that didn't pique your interest go to the doctor and ask why. Next up on Laura
Seli's resume is the film Dread: Reckoning. With the concept of "the wrongs you do,
come back to you" this tale is worth watching. It's a story of a man named Brady who was
bring up three very...no, that's not it. Wrong movie. It's about a slack off dude who
thinks that life is all about womanizing. Lucky for him, a mystic was kind enough to warn
him to repent "before his lifeline fades into oblivion." What a swell mystic. Unluckily, a
pair of demons hunt and kill his friends leaving him all alone to await his own demise. Not
the kind of life I'd want to live.
Keeping true to the genre Dread stars "Night of the Living Dead" actor, Bill Hinzman.
His skills mixed with the fine cast of Rick Reed, Jason Catlett, Cheyenne Stewart, Ashley
Gallo, Darrin Willgues, Karen Fox, Bill Hinzman and Daniel C. Morrison (no, not me, just
kidding. You know you want it though.) Together they pull off a disturbing, entertaining
reason to not be a womanizer. I suppose the guy should've got into those 18 and over ways
of life instead. Check out the trailer
Now I quote directly from the reviews given about this immersive movie:
"When I first popped “Dread” into my DVD player to view the screener I didn't know what
to expect. And that was good because it left my mind wide open.
Once the film started I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the
editing. For an independent film to possess the quality of sound and lighting was excellent.
As the film rolled on, I became convinced that I was watching something that was created by
a true talent. Laura is someone to definately keep your eyes on. The creative process is
continuous, and you can only work with the hand that is dealt to you. So is this film a home
run? Maybe not, but did it get on base? Absolutely! And by the end, it still scored with
me.
I can say, that once Laura is backed by a budget and surrounded with other talented
pieces, the sky is the limit.
Again, congrats on a job well done. From the screenplay, to the filming, and to the
sleepless nights editing, I'm sure there were many!"

“Dread:Reckoning” will take you on a spine tingling thrill ride that will leave you
breathless!
Dread is a great independent horror movie with great special effects and just enough
gore. I loved that Dread didn't go over board with gore in order to sell the movie that way
like some do. Although Dread has a strong enough plot that they didn't need to do that.
Dread also had an outstanding make up artist for the cast especially the demons. I love
the coloring they used on the demons it gave them a fresh new look.
Now like most independent films Dead is nothing like a huge Hollywood film so keep that
in mind, your not going to be watching The Ring folks. With that said Dread takes you back
to when horror movies still had great effects but not all the computerized effects that tend
to be to much and take away from the movies brilliance.
I also found that the music that was choice for the movie was a perfect match. It was
intense thrash when it needed to be and less intense when it needed to be.
Dread also has a great plot. It's about a male and a female demon that is killing the
guilty, as in the bad people in a quaint little town. The lead character is also one of the
biggest horses asses ever which is a big drawl for the demons. Do the demons get him or does
he win? You'll have to watch the movie to find out!" Heather Burke from Raven Entertainment Productions http://blog.rave

gem to a new 'high' in indie filmaking." J-Rock

"As the Hollywood elite sits comfortable remaking the standard fair, Dread shows what
Indie ingenuity and original concepts still exist in the horror genre! Night of the Living
Dead homage had its element with respect as Bill Hinzman creeping through a cemetery." Baron Craze, Reviewer and Journalist

I hope you will check out Laura Seli's skills along with the production companies and actors

Are you a Paranormal Investigator really? Or do you relate to the Paranormal field in some other way? Any way plausible no matter how out of the ordinary it might seem? You could be my next guest then. Each week (or longer, depending on time constraints for my brain, eyes, and fingers) I post a new Paranormal Spotlight guest and give them the Daniel C. Morrison treatment as you have seen above. If you want in you have to buy a book and show a receipt. HA HA HA, just kidding. All you have to do is send an email to me at
danielcurtismorrison@yahoo.com
with the subject line: "I AM INTERESTED IN BEING SPOTLIGHTED ON YOUR MCALLISTER PAGE." I'll shoot an email your way in response and the fun will begin. So what are you waiting for? Get into the ectoplasmic limelight right away. I look forward to our friendship!
p.s. please buy a book :)
I would like to take a moment to express my sincerest wishes and prayers for those out there who are killed because of their choice to be different. A soul should be judged, not a shell. This is in regards to a friend of mine, Mistress Avalon. She is a proud supporter of The Gothic Liberation Front. She has been part of the Goth scene for 23 years. Her skills include being a healer, an empath, a hairdresser & a devoted Goth who seeks the truth on her spiritual journey. The idea of her myspace page, Gothic Liberation Front/Ashe
was originally due to a few murders of a Goth girl called Sophie Lancaster who was stomped to death in England for just being a Goth & a young Punk guy in the state was also murdered for just being a Punk. Goths get threatened & hassled & bullied & abused all the time because of their lifestyles. Her site is to educate people on who they are and what they are into. They want to band a community together like a support system group.
The Goth scene doesn't do too well as it is.
It seems that due to so many of life's difficulties people find it easier to sell out, according to Mistress Avalon. "You have to be a strong person & it must mean a lot to you to continue living a Gothic lifestyle devoutly. At the end of the day it is about the music, having darker tastes, owning your own way of fashion, staying a unique individual throughout societies bad opinions through ignorance."
I would just like to say to everyone to please, before your initial judgement goes down, search the soul. Try spending a moment looking into someone's eyes or greet them and decipher what's in their voice before assuming what kind of person they are. Would you judge the same if you were blind?
Thanks for the time. My heart and prayers go out to all the misjudged.
Sending Bright Blessings and Warm Hugs for your Special Day...Happy Birthday...May life reach out and make all of your dreams come true....love and light, Pamla
So Jeff and I decided we needed to get back to the CFRC and do some more snooping around to get the data Dr. Melbourne was pushing for. When will I learn? Like they say - no good deed goes unpunished. Check out our latest Video Case File to see what I mean: www.forestsofmystery.com/vcf9.htm
So here it is, Tuesday, and I gotta say -- things are getting kinda weird out here in the great Pacific Northwest. Maybe it's all the rain. Too dang much moss everywhere. And then... well you know how people you think you knew can suddenly change? Like overnight? Like from straight out of left field? I'm pretty sure something has gotten into Linda -- Jeff and I went to see her yesterday and... well, I'll get the whole story posted on our website ASAP, but suffice it to say this whole investigation of ours is getting more worrisome by the day. Wish us luck, and thanks for your support! - Dewey Lansing, forestsofmystery
