Three sisters from Grafton, on the New South Whales north coast of Australia, have spent their young lives pursuing their musical dreams.
From a very young age the girls spent every weekend traveling up and down the east coast of Australia doing the hard yards of the well-worn country music talent quests.
The McClymonts were finally able to unleash their musical alchemy and soaring vocal perfection when they were found and signed by Universal Music Australia.
They toured Australia performing to full houses every night supporting multi-award winner and Australian of The Year Lee Kernaghan, along with music festivals across the country.
The girls were also invited to perform for the Australian troops based in Iraq and
Afghanistan over Christmas and New Years 2006 and 2007. They spent 15 days in the desert flown around by Hercules to numerous bases situated all over the Middle East, playing 12 concerts as part of the Tour De Force program.
Since the Australian release of their album, “Chaos and Bright Lights,” the media quickly recognized their increasing popularity. They appeared numerous times on popular Australian television shows including Sunrise, The Today Show,
Mornings with Kerri-Anne, and the high-rated lifestyle show,
“Getaway,” where the girls presented their hometown of Grafton (NSW) to the nation. They also appeared on the Australian Series, ‘Neighbors,’ in 2008.
Following the spotlight of press, magazine shoots and radio interviews, they were thrilled to be invited to perform on one of Sydney’s top-rated radio stations, NOVA, with the infamous breakfast crew Merrick and Rosso.
The McClymonts stake their claim and aim to create their own music history, one that is rich with magical voices, heartfelt lyrics and unforgettable melodies.
They were discovered by American record executives Jacob Capricciuolo and Jimmy Swan when on business in Australia. They came across one of The McClymonts' music videos while watching Australian TV and instantly knew that their music had to be heard by Americans. It became reality with the help of Universal Music Australia.
Executive Music Nashville, a Division of Executive Music Group, is proud to unveil the talented female trio in the USA.
GET READY AMERICA FOR THE McCLYMONTS !!!
The McClymonts have arrived in the US with their debut album, “Chaos and Bright Lights,” a Universal/Executive Music Nashville release to come Spring of 2010.
Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, the girls- Brooke, Sam and Mollie- had the privilege of flying from Australia to work with some of Nashville’s finest musicians and hit
record producer Adam Anders (Nick Lachey, Backstreet Boys, Shania Twain, Sinead
O’Connor).
All 12 tracks were co-written by the sisters with both Australian and American writers. The US debut single, “My Life Again,” was co-written with Adam Anders and hit producer/writer Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift). Smash hits include “My Life Again," “Save Yourself," and “Favorite Boyfriend of The Year,” which saw the girls walk away with 4 CMAA 'Best New Talent' and 'Group Of The Year’ Golden Guitar Awards three years in a row in Tamworth, Australia. Hey.. Thanks for the request.. I have heard your song "My life again" and "Shotgun".. They're really cool.. So the three of you are siblings??? You are so talented...
Wow, you ladies are wonderfully talented. You have such beautiful singing voices, and your songs are great! I'm glad you sent me a friend request, I love your music. And I think its amazing that you ladies are sisters and working together on a dream so huge. Always stick together..if you watch tv and see the news, the music business has a way of finding artisit's weaknesses and they end up on the front page of magazines...I'm sure you all know what I mean. Keep it up, girls. You've got a truly awesome gift! :)
Hey ladies, just wanted to let you know when I was driving home from work, I heard your song on the radio! I thought it was pretty cool. I wasnt expecting to hear it, and then it came on. Total mind blowing huh?
