Alright folks, here's the story...
In the days before MYSPACE there was a rock band named THE MEANS which was comprised of Jason Frederick, Brad Swinski, Emily Ann Allen and her brother David Wayne Allen. The band worked fairly hard and managed to accomplish alot together before Jason Frederick announced, via phone call, that he wanted nothing more to do with the band's life. In this phone call he did put forth the suggestion that the band might find his replacement and continue on-a-rockin' and-a-rollin'.
A long time after that phone was hung up the Swinski/Allen camp decided to do just that with Jacob Sundermeyer (of the EVIL QUEENS) taking Frederick’s role. Since that time they have played some great shows and have even managed to pen a few rock ditties of their own.
THE MEANS hope to continue rocking in whatever capacity seems relevant, which in all probability will include recording and releasing further collections of HARD ROCK music. This music hopes to build on the HARD ROCK foundation built by the original line up’s three full length CD’s and various 7 inch records.
Sun Tzu writes, “Ground that forms the key to three contiguous states, so that he who occupies it first has most of the empire at his command, is ground of intersecting highways”. A bit of a heavy handed passage in this context to be sure, but applicable in the sense that we have picked up the story of THE MEANS first, and those who have since adopted the monicker have done so while occupying desperate ground.
So, in staying within the teachings of the great Sun Tzu, “On ground of intersecting highways, join hands with your allies. On desperate ground, fight”. Please join us as we continue to do what we have done since we first figured out how to rock way back when we were teenagers; and for no good reason at all. Allies only please. -SWINSKI-

!!!! I found the answer to that question you asked me about the other day. I think that it's Chlamydia you've got instead of Syphilis. I know you told me that you were having problems with an infectious discharge, which is a common symptom of syphilis, but I think that the constant pain in your lower stomach and burning sensation when you pee are more characteristic of Chlamydia. I know how you didn't want to talk to your parents about it so I didn't mind calling around to find out what is wrong with you. Just being a good friend and letting ya know ~holla back P.S. I heard walgreens has that cream that you needed for that oral herpes too. And dont worry, it doesnt have any alcohol so it wont burn like the last 7 creams you tried. :-)Get well soon!!!
was in the hospital from 7-28 to 8-08 with organized pneumonia, and chronic influencea & boop.
He has tiny holes in his lungs trapping air in his chest, throat and sometimes shoulder blades. He had a lung byopsy almost three weeks ago that didn't help with the diagnosis. He also had a chest tube in him for a week along with a bronchoscopy. He eneded up leaving with 3 staples and 12 stitches in on his side along with a nice hole from the chest tube. He is currently home on an oxygen machine for 2 months. The doctors don't know if these holes in his lungs will seal up or if the infection will return so It might be longer.
There are a couple of benefit shows coming up to help Will pay for his $72,000 and rising hospital bill. On top of the several doctors he needs to see in the next few weeks.
One of these shows is 9-12-08 @ the High Five 9pm to Midnight.
