About THE MEARS BROTHERS

Tommy, Jim & John Mears have been writing and performing together since they were young boys growing up in Racine, Wisconsin. They released a couple of records and toured the U.S. along with lead guitarist Don Carls. They won a songwriting contest sponsored by Maxwell House coffee. The Maxwell house deal brought them to L.A., where the Mears Brothers got their fisrt inside look at the recording industry. It was this time in L.A. that convinced them that they needed to be in a music center, and eventually lead to their move to Nashville in 1988. Since arriving in Nashville the Mears brothers have had songs cut by a growing list of country recording artists. They have also released 2 CD's. WISCONSIN WIND & WRITE PLACE/WRONG TIME.
