About The Medicine

Since their formation just over five years ago, The Medicine have been building a reputation for their unusual blend of indy-rock with Adam Stewart on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, Tom Kelly on Lead Guitar & Backing Vocals, Liam Rigney on bass and Dom Brown on drums. The band has just capped off there best year yet with a Single release and UK Tour as well as gigs with Mick Head of Shack, Bez of The Happy Mondays and The Rascals to name a few. The Medicine were also house band for Heebie Jeebies on Seel St in Liverpool for The Cuban Heel Night which saw many class acts over a six month period. The Medicine also played numerous Oxjam events includinmg the LiveJam weekend which The Medicine played both nights and did lots of radio interviews with the likes of Hope Radio, BBc Radio Merseyside and City Talk with Neil Fitsmaurice (Phoneix Nights) where we composed his jingle! 2009 Looks good for The Medicine with a new CD on the way and a summer Tour.

Clocks Work	Jul 7 2009 12:53 AM Alright straight-legs! How's tricks!? We are playing some outdoor small festival style gig aptly named the L1 Festival on the 26th of this very month. Wondered if you fancied poppin round and watchin? Its an all day sunday thing I think or at least 1pm-6pm. I also couldn't stop laughing long enough to remember what I wanted to tell you... then I wanted to call you back to tell you all about the rice cakes I was eating. LOVELY.
