Mainly music, tv themes, skill toys and Liverpool FC. I was lucky enough to see Orbital 8 times, the last time was on June 25th 2004 at the Brixton Academy which was brilliant.
Music
All time favourite tune has to be Papua New Guinea by The Future Sound of London, pushed a VERY close second by Brazil (2nd edit) by the wonderfully gifted Joel Zimmerman, AKA Deadmau5
Other Faves include Stanton Warriors, Ochre, Orbital, DJ Shadow, Plump DJ's, Plaid, Thomas Dolby, Depeche Mode, Autechre, Kraftwerk, Massive Attack, Esem, FSOL, Underworld and loads more!.
Movies
Like most types of films, but favour thrillers and animation movies. My all time favourite film is Crossroads from 1986, which featured Ralph Macchio as Eugene Martone who is looking for a lost Robert Johnson song - Classic!.
Television
Dirty Sanchez - without a doubt the funniest thing ever!!Deadliest Catch, Holmes on Homes, American Chopper, Ax Men, Jetstream,
Books
Currently thumbing through Bartley Gormans Book
Heroes
My Mum, who sadly passed away on July 20th 2006, sadly missed but never forgotten.
About me: Married to Su since August 1991, with 2 wonderful kids, Jack & Bethany. Love music, especially bands like Orbital who are still my favourite despite no longer being together :-(
and I listen to a lot of dance/electronic music.
I also collect tv theme tunes, if you want to see the list, go to www.markashall.co.uk and click the TV themes link...
Who I'd like to meet: Pritch and the Sanchez boys, Lance Armstrong, Laurel & Hardy, JFK, Lee Harvey Oswald (If it was possible to!), Jamie Oliver, Stevie Gerrard and my long lost friend Janey, who I am delighted to say is back! :-)

The Sunday Express (five stars) ***** "It's clear from the title track that you are listening to something special with O'Connor's second solo album... It's time for KT, Sandi and Amy to make room because this should launch a new Scottish star into the charts. ''
The Herald (four stars) **** ''O'Connor has one of the best voices heard in Scotland in some time, and a set of fine songs to show it off...''
The List (four stars) **** There is an unmistakable modern twist to her music, and she flits effortlessly between, husky poppiness on the likes of 'Saturday Man' to soulful stripped down and spine tingling. '
