About The Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club

The Club is a group of fiddle fans meeting monthly to play tunes from Scotland, old and new, and the Scottish diaspora. There's a big focus on public performance and the club plays gigs all over Victoria and at folk festivals across Australia. School students as young as 8 and adults as old as 78 play together, and skill level varies from ardent beginners to professional level players. The group has now recorded three CDs in the last ten years, which have had a lot of success at home and abroad, and continues to wreak havoc on the Australian music scene.
