She-Dick live @ Backyard Beach Bar

Saturday night, local band She-Dick gave a perhaps one of their best shows of all the ones I have seen which have been a decent few. Good thing too because I don’t think they wanted to go out with less than a bang. Performing an ample set that included songs “So Beautiful”, “Miss Nasty” and “My Extensions”, the ladies gave a fun energetic show to an ample crowd in the ironic venue.
Ironic only because Backyard Beach Bar ain’t the first place one thinks of for live music venues. But maybe they are trying to change that. I asked one of The Melissas, who hosted the show, why that place and come to find out, they approached them! If you don’t know who The Melissas Deluxe are then you better get in the loop and head to their next party stat. These ladies got it going on with hip local DJs and clearly great bands highlighting each of their parties around town.
She-Dick and The Melissas were a perfect fit and a packed crowd were proof of that as I hope you can see in the video. This footage will go down in She-Dick history as the only evidence of their last show in Dallas. Well, that is until they come back which Miss Candi Shell predicts will be as bigger pop stars.
