Formed in September 2004, The Memory's members have been a fixture in the local Lancaster, Pennsylvania music scene since 2002. This upstart band has quickly turned heads and garnered fans by displaying song-writing talent normally posessed only by veterans. The Memory's sound combines catchy trade-off vocals and infectious hooks with powerful and driving guitar lines. Combing the song-writing prowess of Taking Back Sunday or All American Rejects with the polished edginess of bands like Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance, The Memory presents a powerful blend of sound that is virtually impossible to ignore.
The band's debut record "Your Blood, My Hands... Let's Make it a Date" was released in August 2005 from CI, and The Memory have been touring in support of it. Their growing popularity is thanks in full to their talent and prowess, and has secured them their place as a top draw in their local market.
