Influences
We play rockabilly, hillbilly/mountainbilly, rock n roll, some wild surf instrumentals, mild psychobilly (or wild psychobilly after we've taken the pills) and anything ending in billy!! A bit of skiffle, and all the good stuff of the '50's............. ........................... Favourite modern bands include Curst Sons, Lee Rocker, Hillbilly Moon Explosion, oh yes, and DT loves Los Straitjackets & the World Famous Pontani Sisters (Why haven't we got them dancing for us ?) !!! ..............................................................Et pour tous nos copains en France - Allez les gars!!. Memphis Flyers .......formed in 2006, a trio playing rockabilly / hillbilly, mountainbilly, rock 'n roll, a bit of country, and a lot of fun !!! Our first CD, 'It's Saturday Night' was released June 2008.........second CD 'Cattin Around' released in 2009..................................................... Work starts on our new CD in Jan 2010, so gigs are at a minimum for Jan/Feb. We will have guest country fiddle on this one !! more news soon.
