About me:

About the author, Ronlyn Domingue
I’ve worked as a grassroots organizer, project manager, grant writer, and teacher. Most of my career years were spent working within or in support of the non-profit sector.

THE MERCY OF THIN AIR, my first novel, was published in September 2005. It was acquired in 11 other countries.

For about two years, I thought I knew what my second book would be. Then in October 2006, I had to shelve it for what is now Novel #2. I don’t know when it’ll be finished, only that one day it will.

A few of my short pieces have appeared in New England Review, Clackamas Literary Review, New Delta Review, and The Independent (UK).

I share my life with a true partner and Renaissance man, Todd B., our cats, and lots of urban wildlife. (That is to say, birds, raccoons, squirrels, and the like.)

About the novel, The Mercy of Thin Air
New Orleans, 1920s. Raziela Nolan is in the throes of a magnificent love affair when she dies in a tragic accident. In an instant, she leaves behind her one true love and her dream of becoming a doctor--but somehow, she still remains. Immediately after her death, Razi chooses to stay between--a realm that exists after life and before whatever lies beyond it.

Seventy-five years later, in this ghost-like state, Razi takes residence with a troubled couple whose history mirrors her own. Her intervention in their lives forces her to face the truth of what happened to her beloved Andrew and the nature of her very existence.

Part love story, part ghost story, The Mercy of Thin Air is an exploration of our fragile human lives and memories.

    Hello my new friend
    As the Spinners sung,
    "WHENEVER YOU CALL ME,
    WHENEVER YOU NEED ME
    I'LL BE AROUND”

DEEP... my heart and soul is endless,
My time is only for those who take me as I am
    You can have me
    But if you break me
    I have already forgiving you
As God would have me to do
    So come to me
    Love me
    Try to understand me
    If you can't
    Don't fear me
    Just take more time
    To know me
    My friend

A passage from my best selling romantic erotic novel, come take a ride in BRUSH STROKES @ Amazon.com
“A man may admire what a woman does for a living; he may admire her education and social circle. He may be enamored with her physical beauty, but he only truly falls in love, with the softest and warmest part of her, her soul.”
