Due to time constraints with other projects, the lineup of The Mermaid Purse fluctuated for several months solidifying with the current line-up of Eric Shutt (Doosu) on vocals and guitar, Jim Keith (Soviet Space, Horses) on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Todd Harwell (Doosu, Flickerstick) playing drums.

Since its inception, The Purse has toured extensively throughout the south and midwest, expanding its fan base and gaining air play on commercial and college radio across the nation. The Mermaid Purse continues to write, record and evolve with their own vision of music.
