| About The Merry Andrews |
Well, we started back in 2005 as Moonlight Madness and it was because there was going to be a rock show at our high school. They were looking for new bands to play. We decided to give it a shot and we started to practice. We started off as four members, Benny Wolfman, Frankie Stokes, Master Wuhan, and Tony Morello. We opened the show playing Territorial Pissings by Nirvana and Moby Dick by Led Zeppelin. It was awesome so we decided to continue and play more shows. Soon after, Moonlight Madness got into a dispute with the 4 Heads, a band and gang led by Isaac Le Great, Nice Guy Eric (don’t get him wrong, he’s vicious,) Jacques-Ass, and Patrick The Happy Boy. It did not end pretty. It was a bloody brawl that left three of us in the hospital and Tony dead in a pool of his own blood. Tony’s death was a hard blow that left us in bed for weeks not knowing what to do and not knowing whether or not to continue. After our second show we changed our name to The Merry Andrews (because it turns out there was a Moonlight Monkey Madness) and got a new guitarist, Vince Freeman, a kid from our school whom we first met playing in traffic. He is still alive and well and always ready to rock. We play our own stuff and we practice as much as we can. We also put a lot of work into our shows and we're always thinking of new ways to keep you guys interested. Next time we're on, check us out, we're sure that you and us will have a great time together.
