Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros's Friend Space (Top 24)
As Thanksgiving Day rolls around, It brings up some facts, quite profound. We may think that we're poor, Feel like bums, insecure, But in truth, our riches astound.
We have friends and family we love; We have guidance from heaven above. We have so much more Than they sell in a store, We're wealthy, when push comes to shove.
So add up your blessings, I say; Make Thanksgiving last more than a day. Enjoy what you've got; Realize it's a lot, And you'll make all your cares go away.
So I got really bored with music in general about a year and a half ago. I was up at the local used cd store and stumbled over Streetcore, and it changed my entire outlook on music. Before I experienced Strummer with the Mescaleros I thought the Clash would be the best thing he's been a part of, but there is no comparison. I managed to get my hands on Global a Go Go not too long ago, but I haven't been able Rock Art & the X-Ray Style anywhere.
How is it possible to enjoy listening to music and not dig Joe Strummer? Surely those who make music should be even more big on Joe's work ... :D Peace out guys, RIP Joe.
