So This Is Christmas
So This Is Christmas is a charity event that will held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at The Meterroom located at 60 Greenway Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15204.
The chosen charity will benefit by receiving 100% of all money raised through various Raffles and Silent Auctions that will be held at So This Is Christmas.
The cost of admission is $30 at the door or $25 in advance. This includes all food and drink, entertainment, and chance to win door prizes. All Raffles and Silent Auctions are additional. We will be accepting cash as well as personal checks for the Raffles and Auctions. We ask that you please come prepared.

About me: The Meterroom is the latest project from local Pittsburgh PA artist Johnross. The Meterroom is a performance space / art gallery / art work space. The Meterroom hosts live music and art shows of all styles. The Meterroom is available for cocktail parties, art exhibits, workshops and also for use as sets for movie and television shoots.
The Meterroom is equipped with kitchen facilities and has a green room for performers and a full loading dock, both located behind the main stage.

The Meterroom is located at 60 Greenway Dr. in Sheraden in the West End of the city of Pittsburgh, only 5 min from town by car. By Bus take the 100 West Busway route from downtown, Get off at Sheraden Station bus stop which is across street from The Meterroom.
The first Meterroom Event was be held on Saturday August 5th 2006 at 8pm. The event PENDULUM featured fashion, art, music, all in the Meterroom's industrial atmosphere.

Who I'd like to meet: The Meterroom is also involved in many filmmaking projects throughout Pittsburgh and has collaborated with Point Park University Cinema and Digital Arts Students over the past four years.
