WE DO NOT PRODUCE/PROMOTE MUSIC EVENTS OR BOOK BANDS.

WE ONLY PRODUCE THEATER/PLAYS.

It is run by a non-profit theater company called Prodigal Sun Productions whose mission is to present local, educational, and controversial works to our surrounding community, support local artists, and keep theater accessible to all by maintaining low ticket prices. It is managed by the ever friendly Elizabeth Lord.

The stage area is not elevated but on floor level and approx 17'x 25'. The seating risers, and two portable free-standing walls can be adjusted for user groups needs.

The Midnight Sun opened in 1991 and has a long history of alternative music and experimental theater shows. A small, but great, black box theater it's capacity is 97 standing, or 55 with chairs. Stage lighting, no PA though.

Sometimes there is an all-ages music show, sometimes there's a traditional stage play, sometimes there's some sort of wacky experimental music or theater something or other.....
