Our band was born and raised on the sounds of the psychedelic 60's, freak out guitar rock of the early 70's, spit soaked and piss in your face punk rawk with a heavy dose of 80's indie rock mayhem, and 90's grunge rock all to be mixed together to create our sound, a high energy rock n roll trio. The Midnyte Revival! We are a punk rawk band from Cornwall Ontario Canada. How did we come up with the name you ask? There are two reasons, first Chad use to have an indie label called Midnight Revival Records, and second we were jamming after midnight reviving that good ol' rocknroll sound. Therefore we have our name The Midnyte Revival. There have been a few lineup changes since we started back in the winter of 2004 as The Troublemakers, but we are back to mostly the original lineup. We are ready to rocknroll for all you Midnyte Ramblers, so get ready to enter the psychedelic time zone!!
The Midnyte Revival have played over 40 shows in cities like Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, London, Cornwall, Brockville, Maxville, and Alexandria. We’ve shared the stage with The Guts (ex-Queers, ex-Nobodys), Fuck the Facts (Relapse Recs), The Riptides (Red Scare/Union 2112), The Leftovers (Cheap Skate Recs), I Hate Sally (Underground Operations), The Nads, The Sewer Rats, Friendly Fire, The Poulsens, The Annoyers, Dionysos, Red October, The Usual Suspects, A Dying Race, and many others. We have played shows at venues like Zaphod Beeblebrox in Ottawa, a venue that has hosted the likes of the Rolling Stones and Blowfly, and we have taken residence at La Maison in Cornwall.
The Midnyte Revival have also played live on Ottawa radio station CKCU FM, aired on a Brockville and Cornwall TV show, we've been interviewed in the Standard Freeholder Newspaper, we've had a pair of songs used for a NYC Punk Compilation CD, and over 13,000 plays on myspace. It's not all work though! We party till 7am in the morning, we drink, we toke, we scream, and we spin great records all hours of the night. When we are on stage we are still having a party, and you are all invited. Trevor Walsh called us "the Loudest Band in Eastern Ontario", come to our show and see what the hype is all about. Thanks to everyone who has supported us, you all make this happen, and we will never forget that!

Hi there THE MIDNYTE REVIVAL first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that.
