Formed abruptly in the summer of 2009, the members of The Midwestern Charm quickly and smoothly transitioned from a group of unlikely bandmates to the cohesive foursome that displays its love of writing and performing with all the energy and passion its members have to offer. Led by Connor Sands La Mue (The Way Out, Abraham Calling) on lead vocals and guitar, The Midwestern Charm is comprised of the youthful and adorable Jesse Vandenelzen (The Way Out, Monday Automatic) on bass, Ryan McCrary's (Abraham Calling) undying musicianship on lead guitar, and the veteran solidarity of Ryan Gracyalny (Patterns In Static, The National Score) behind the drum kit. The group of musicians ranges in everything from influences, folk to metal, to even age and experience. However, in the short span of time the band has taken to create and display their handcrafted songs, they have overwhelmed their audiences in smaller venues and coffeehouses, created an initial stir that only begins to hint of the possibilities in store for The Midwestern Charm. ........Check back for future shows and tracks..to be updated on the site!..
