Sounds Like
The "happy place" memory you've stored in the recesses of your grey matter for emergency use in times of panic.
Since eons before the dawn of recorded history, benevolent aliens have had their giant eyes on the modest but pretty blue planet of "Earth", saving their alien pennies in hopes of someday renovating it for use as a roller derby themed resort/spa. What they couldn't have planned for, no matter how clairvoyant their enormous noggins were, was that the planet's primordial ooze would coagulate in such a way to create intelligent life, including the volatile human race. In a swift move designed to protect their investment, the crafty aliens created THE MIKE MESSER BAND, so that beautiful music, peaceful melodies, and the language of love would flood the Earth, thereby soothing the otherwise warlike and territorial humans, thus insuring the planet's long and happy life.
So let's learn about these jolly joymakers, thems who present songs which are hand clappable, finger snappable, and solidly unflappable...Like when you grapple with an apple snapple in a chapel.
They are an international summit of fun, Nick from Vermont (The home of maple syrup and the slow cooked Jam) and Mike from Rockland (where all the ROCK comes from) to inhabit both all the boroughs of New York City including Jersey, and the nooks and crannies of your very heart.
They make heart wrenching, booty bumpin, finger poppin love rock Moosick to feed to you as it was fed to them, raised as they were on a steady diet of heavy rock, Jazz, commercial jingles, Klezmer, Funk, fusion, big band, swing, tenor arias, 12 minute drum features that try the patience of even the harshest of practice-room snobs, run-on-sentences, slam poetry, doritos, non-stopera hip-hopera, singer songwriters and songer singwriters, minimalist drones, maximalist guitar solos, 1940's musical theater, adult cinema soundtracks, and department store holiday music. Come to a live show and you may win big big big during the between-song-giveaway, and you may just find true love, as Nick and Mike are actively seeking YOU. But no matter what, the songs are great, the band plays 'em great and somewhere in the course of the evening you'll be tickled to discover that a big ol' smile has found it's way to yer mug. So we hope you'll spend a night with the MIKE MESSER BAND and maybe even take in the concert beforehand. You lucky kid. Don't forget to thank the aliens.
Tears are streaming down my cheecks as I listen to you poetic lully bys which gentle caress my broken heart and strong soul. Thank you for being a healing force across the miles for me tonight. Thank you very very much dear friend. Much Love Lizard Love
