I'M MIKE RAY. i'm 23 & i live in dallas, texas. i play bass and sing sometimes for THE HIT. we're fun. you should check us out. we might just be your new favorite band.

I'M GOING TO LIVE MY LIFE ON STAGE. there's nothing else in the world like the feeling of having a crowd sing your words back to you. it's something that i'll never get used to & will never get enough of.

I WISH I COULD SPEND EVERY DAY ON TOUR. i have never felt more at home than i do when i'm on the road. there's nothing better than seeing new places and new faces every day. i want to meet everyone in the world.

I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY MUSIC FOR A LIVING, and i will stop at nothing until that dream becomes a reality. i want to spend the rest of my life traveling the world -- stage by stage -- next to these guys.

I LOVE EVERY PERSON that has ever come to one of our shows. we would be nothing without you, and i realize that every day. thanks from the bottom of my heart. hopefully i'll keep seeing your faces for years to come.

I LOVE MEETING PEOPLE, no matter who or where or what their age. if you see me anywhere, don't be afraid to come up and strike up a conversation. we might just become great friends. you never know.

I STILL REMEMBER EVERY STAGE i've ever played. every time i play a show it's the greatest moment of my life, and i'm thankful every day that i get to spend my life doing such wonderful things.

I ONLY PLAY FENDER/GIBSON BASSES & AMPEG AMPS. it's been that way since the day that i could afford them & my collection is always growing. i'm going to make a fender jazz/gibson thunderbird hybrid soon. can't wait.

I LOVE MY FRIENDS MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THE WORLD. i would be nothing without them and i'll never forget it. they've gotten me through some extremely low points in life and for that i will forever be in their debt.

IF YOU ASK ME MY FAVORITE BANDS, i'll tell you i don't have any. but they will always be fall out boy & the academy is... i don't care what you think or say about them, they're my friends and i'll back them until the day i die.

I LOVE ELECTRONIC MUSIC. everything from new(er) artists like the faint, daft punk, justice & MGMT back to 80's new wave artists like depeche mode, talk talk & new order. check my player for more.

I LISTEN TO MORE BANDS than i can keep up with, but i'm always open to new ones. if you know of any (especially electronic/dancy ones) PLEASE tell me about them. supporting new music is what the industry is about.

I TAKE FOREVER TO GET READY. longer than most girls. i care far too much about my appearance. i can never decide what to wear. i use more hairspray than anyone i know. i spend wayyy too much time trying to look nice.

I AM A PRETTY MUCH A VEGETARIAN. i made the decision to start only eating healthy foods, and it just sort of progressed toward vegetarianism. i've got to find some way to fit into these skinny jeans, after all.

I AM AS OBSESSED WITH SPORTS as i am with music. i'll watch just about anything, as long as it's a sport. i'm studying to become a sports journalist, and i'm going to host at an episode of sportscenter before i die.

I AM EASILY DISTRACTED BY COMPUTERS. i can't remember the last time that i actually got on one and only did what i intended to. more often than not, i forget to do what i got on to do in the first place.

I VALUE TRUTH ABOVE ALL THINGS. as much as it may hurt, it's never as bad as a lie. trust is something that's easy to lose but very hard to gain. nobody likes a liar. it won't take you anywhere in life but down.

I AM ETERNALLY OPTIMISTIC. there's no reason to get bent out of shape over things that are out of your control. you can't change them. stay positive & make the best of everything life gives you. you'll be much happier.

I LIVE EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE trying to be as nice as humanly possible to every person i meet. there's wayyy too much negativity in this world, and i'm trying to change that, one friendship at a time. you should, too.

I LOVE MY NEW FRIENDS // I MISS MY OLD FRIENDS. i love people that make me laugh. you can't put a price on happiness. i'll never take my friends for granted becuase i know what it's like to be alone.

IT WOULD MAKE ME EXTREMELY HAPPY TO MEET ANY ONE AND/OR EVERY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE:

A BEAUTIFUL GIRL TO KISS. human contact will always amaze me. i love falling asleep with someone in my arms. holding hands still gives me goosebumps, and i prefer cuddling above just about everything.

SOMEONE TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH. i'm a person that can't function outside of a relationship & i've been single for far too long, but the best things in life (including relationships) always come when you least expect them.

NEW FRIENDS TO TALK TO. i love to meet new people. my life is online. though it's difficult, i always try to answer every message i receive. let's get to know each other. there's nothing like making new friends.

PEOPLE TO HANG OUT WITH ON TOUR. it's lonely traveling from city to city every night, so it's always nice when you can look forward to seeing people you know. shoot me a message & come say hi when we're in town.

ANYONE WHO IS GENUINE. everyone hates liars and fakes. i will always ignore shit-talkers and drama. nothing good ever comes from trying to bring someone else down. be yourself, it's all you'll ever need to be.

PEOPLE WITH GOOD TASTE IN MUSIC. and that doesn't necessarily mean my music. there's wonderful music in ever genre. however, if we share the same musical tastes, we're probably going to get along quite well.
