THE MILLEN SISTERS - Imagine being mesmerized by two silky voices that are so velvety smooth that they stop listeners in their tracks. The Millen Sisters, singers, songwriters, actors, models, entrepreneurs & activists are natives of New Jersey , now reside in Los Angeles , began singing as toddlers in the church. These soul sisters are a reflection of The Three Degrees, The Supremes, The Emotions, The Staple Singers, The Sweet Inspirations, The Jones Girls, Sam & Dave & The Pointer Sisters. They are inspired by Motown, Philly Soul & The Memphis Sound as well as Southern gospel such as The Meditation Singers, Mahalia Jackson & The Canton Spirituals. By the age of ten, the sisters had the house rocking on Amateur Night at the Apollo in Harlem , USA . The Millen Sisters are now the latest faces of the new Got Milk? Commercial & Print Campaign "White Gold is White Gold", consisting of seven commercials, several print ads in major magazines, an interactive website, myspace & facebook page as well as three music videos geared towards teenagers to promote the health benefits of milk. The twins modeled in print ads for Cosmo Girl, Teen Vogue & Seventeen Magazine as well as other major fashion magazines. They also have been tapped to sing at The Critics Choice Awards After Party, where Academy Award Winner Forest Whitaker greeted them, World Aids Day, The Los Angeles Clippers Game, Happy Hour Film Festival, Minor league baseball & basketball games, several Motown Review Concerts & writers & performers to the independent film entitled " Music City ”. The sisters are regulars at L.A. Fashion Week & were in 944 Magazine as well as other news & radio outlets such as "The Jeffery Henderson Show" & "The Taking Drum The African Voice Television Talk Show". The Millen Sisters also appeared in the Disney television show “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” & modeled for the Disney’s children’s book series “The Cheetah Girls”.
