"The Miller Tells Her Tale delivers a terrific selection of rarely heard music... dripping fresh with bourbon-sozzled heartbreak" Robbie Hudson, Sunday Times 15 Jan 2006.

Promote Your Page Too..

I produce and present an Americana radio show - The Miller Tells Her Tale. It was broadcast on internet station SpydaRadio for 4 years until that sadly folded. I have now turned it into an 80 minute, weekly podcast available via itunes (search for Karen Miller, or Americana - The Miller Tells Her Tale). or via my website www.themillertellshertale.co.uk. You can also subscribe using the following rss file: http://www.tapecircle.co.uk/spydaradio/tmtht.xml

If you are an artist in the Americana/Folk/Singer-Songwriter genres, and own the copyright to your material and would like me to consider playing your music on my show then please send me a message. I have had permission from many excellent musicians including Buddy Miller, Eliza Gilkyson, Kevin Welch, Rod Picott, Slaid Cleaves, Jason Ringenberg, Chuck Prophet, Kevin Gordon, David Mead and many many more...

The Miller Tells Her Tale reports to both the Free Form American Roots Chart & The Euro-Americana Chart

The Miller Tells Her Tale now also broadcasts on Radio Six International. Check this station out for a great selection of independent music.

I present a 1 hour show on CMR Nashville, it's called "Now That's Americana" and it features a similar playlist to this show although I don't need permission from the artists so there will be a wider mix of music. Each new show initially broadcasts on Friday at 2pm UK time and is repeated at 10pm, then on Saturday at 2am and 6pm.

Photos can be found at www.flickr.com/photos/tmtht of events including Americana Music Awards, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Austin City Limits, SXSW (various years), Midlands Music Festival 06/07, Shetland Folk Festival 05, Celtic Connections 07, The Outsider Festival 07.

I now offer UK (and Euro-Americana) radio and press promotion for Americana Artists. However, I'll only consider artists I'd play on my own shows. If you are interested please visit The Miller Tells Her Tale PR Page.

Hiya Karen , Hope the thunderstorms have abated with you. ABSOLUTELY LOVED the new Madison Violet track you played 'The Woodshop'- It was gorgeous. Great to hear the Greg Brown track first time heard his music. I have a Rounder Records Tribute to him 'Down At The Sea Hotel'. Drew Nelson said Greg was his favourite artist, I can understand why. Hi Karen
Such a lot of great tracks you played last week on your shows. Loved the Stephen Bruton tribute track 'Make That Call' Rocked!
Wow what a guy and a sad loss to music. New to me Ana Egge, Romi Mayes , Alex Ryan were terrific intro's , loved the tracks. Great to hear the Carrie Rodriguez, Fleet Foxes, AKUS and Alice Peacock in the music mix. Its fantastic the effort you put in to promote artists and share you love of music with us. So appreciate this as a Listener to shows.
