Terbentuk pada tahun 2005, oleh Riki sang gitaris. Formasi solid pertama mereka : Riki (Guitar) Cedo (Vocal) Andrian (Bass) Dicx (Drum) Ivay (Lead Guitar). Formasi ini hanya bertahan selama 2 tahun. Ivay sang gitaris memutuskan hengkang dari grup ini dan digantikan oleh O'nee hingga sekarang. Berasal dari kota Serang tampil di gigs-gigs di beberapa kota seperti Serang, Pandeglang, Cilegon dan Jakarta. Terbentuk sejak Juli 2005. Terbentuknya The Minded berawal dari mereka yang ter- influence band-band yang berbasis punk. Dengan personil yaitu: Riki – Gitar & Back Vocal, Cedo - Vocal, Andrian di Bass, O'nee - gitar dan Diki di drum. Nama The Minded pun akhirnya dipilih oleh mereka karena nama tersebut mewakili karakter tiap personilnya yang kesemuanya memiliki intuisi, optimisme, serta beragam pemikiran yang berbeda-beda namun menjadi satu-kesatuan yang saling melengkapi dalam berkarya dan kami mencoba untuk bisa "didengar" hingga sekarang.
