About Mac

When I was a kid my brother drug home this old Sears guitar and put in the corner of the room. He never played it so I started to pick it up. It was so hard to play that sometimes my fingers bled but I would not give up. I worked and saved up and bought my first decent guitar at 17. Compared to the old Sears it was like Heaven. I've been playing ever since. I studied piano some in college and am looking for a good, affordable synthesizer(any help would be greatly appreciated). I really need a good midi synth. I began to experiment with my own sounds and started composing simple little things at first. I've refined and tweaked them a bit from time to time. I wrote my first poem with I was 11 or 12. For some reason I can't explain I've never been able to write songs, just poetry. I have always looked for a way to put my music and poetry together. I am not a professional musician but I was once told by a teacher that I could have been. There are so many things in this life that could have been. For me, poetry and music are a burning flame inside of me that must come out so I constantly struggle to free it. Whether it is music, poetry, drawing, art, whatever creative urge you have I would encourage you to express it if for no other reason than for yourself.
