love, death, light, dark, black, white, shadows, voices, regrets, shame, anger, sounds, tinnitus, drawing, comics, eyesight, all those folks over there and more....
On stage, the first act, playing guitar with an array of effects peddles and drum + bass machine backing is the cartoonist known as Rob Miller, tonight known as The Mind Robbers. He bares a striking resemblance to the comic book character Elexender Brown. This gig looks like one of his strips, achingly honest, like we can see inside his head, looking out his eyes. When he played the Tchai Ovna a few months back I wasn't convinced, but tonight the man is an artist, every nuance, every reverb and guitar jangle, the slow pace and epic tones, carefully crafted, even the slightly too quiet vocals, supposed to be that way. He seems far away, but the music is so loud, and vaguely dischordant.
The set ends unexpectedly, jarring even, he wouldn't have it any other way.
Our latest single 'Set Me On Fire' is now available worldwide from all major digital stores and includes the exclusive remix by dance legends Utah Saints.

Yo the mind robbersasaurus. I just found out that we're related...and as a special family only present we've made a new song for you called "End of Days" (start doing backflips now). It's an epic instrumental opus to the moment when our ancient Dino relatives saw a large fiery object plummeting towards them. Please come to our page, give it a listen and let us know if it makes you feel like something catastrophic is gonna happen. If the song upsets you too much we will be holding several s support groups (read: comcerts) in the near future. Check our page for locations, dates and times.
