The Misplacements is the brain-child of Eric Macrae. He started writing and arranging the songs after the 2006 break-up of the infamous Sweatband in order to have a clear direction to start a new band with. Derek was first to join. Zach moved to Seattle from Montreal and was in the band within a week of moving. Jason, who is also known as DJ Jason Curtis and plays regularly in Seattle, is Eric's neighbor in a top-secret, musician-only neighborhood near downtown Seattle. None of The Misplacements are actually from Seattle, but they call it home anyway.

I like how the parachuting guys are standing all casually in the air with one knee slightly bent as if waiting for a bus. Oh, and the songs are good too.
