Everyday life is all I need to write but I love to listen to: Jimmy Eat World, The Wreckers, Sheyrl Crow, Michelle Branch, Tyler Hilton, Counting Crows, Alexz Johnson, Kate Nash, Avril Lavigne, Bob Marley, Snow Patrol, Pink, The Calling, Damien Rice, Bright Eyes, The Goo Goo Dolls, Newton Faulkner, Terra Naomi, The Fray, Tracy Chapman, 3 Doors Down, The Vines, Jimi Hendrix, Alice In Chains, Placebo, The Kooks, Secondhand Seranade, Eagle Eye Cherry and last but not lease Alanis Morrisette!!
Sounds Like
You tell me! So far I've been told I sound like Sheyrl Crow!
I am The Miss Caz Show. One person, One Acoustic and One Voice. I've just pretty much describe myself in those two sentences in no particular order.
I’ve been song writing since October 2007 I wasn’t keen or comfortable in writing when I first started out but now I just can’t stop. I was taught to play guitar by my sister who only knew a few chords/songs herself and to this day she still only knows a few. I originally started out on Electric Guitar but somehow along the way found myself playing acoustic guitar but I still play Electric Guitar in college bands.
I’m currently studying Music Technology in Coleg Menai Bangor which I’m in my final year of study. I will be attending University Of Huddersfield in September and I will be studying Music Production and Sound Recording. I record all my audio for my songs, I then give them to my friend Tim Butler to produce them so big shout out there!! I love recording and I love writing. It’s my passion, it’s my life it will hopefully be my future.
I’ve been hiding my music and keeping it to myself since I started writing but when I went on holiday with my sister we decided not to go anywhere near our favourite things in life for 12days just to see if our chosen career paths is what we wanted to do. But rehab (as a musician/writer) helped my music it helped me develop as an artist and as a person.
I’m a noob in the gigging department. Well a noob gigging without a band. My first show was at an Open Mic Night in Amlwch. I made a deal with myself that the beginning of the New Year I would start gigging. So far I’ve kept to my word I’m hoping nothing will change that.
So this is my story so far it’s very short I know but I’ll end it with this:
At this moment I’m on the brighter side of the rainbow and I’m wearing a pair of shades.
Nomisma (Greek: νόμισμα) was the ancient Greek word for "money" and is derived from nomos (νόμος) "anything assigned, a usage, custom, law, ordinance"
"....but money has become by convention a sort of representative of demand; and this is why it has the name 'money' (nomisma)-because it exists not by nature but by law (nomos) and it is in our power to change it and make it useless." Aristotle, Nicomachean Ethics. In the Byzantine Empire, nomisma was the most common name given to the gold solidus (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wi
