(guitar/piano/vocals), ..Alain Muller.. (bass), ..Saya Gahungu.. (violin) and ..Jamie Smythe.. (drums), set out to capture their epic sound and began recording in early 2006. The result is Hearts For City Limits. Released on June 30th 2009, the long-awaited debut album offers up earnest songwriting with beautifully layered sounds. Soaring vocals, strings and keys combined with heart-pounding guitars, drums and bass are the foundations of this record. Songs of hope, longing and loss are all connected to ..HFCL..’s main themes of distance and salvation. The band's vision was achieved under the guidance of Gemini Award winning producer/engineer ..Norman Dugas.. (Leaderhouse, Daniel ROA) and with the mixing/mastering skills of ..Kyle Sierens.. (Sick City, Common Lives).Making an appearance on the album are ..Sarah Dugas.. (The Duhks, Madrigaïa) and violinist ..Dale Brown.. (Dust Rhinos).
