Mitch has been leading worship around the country for 10 years. He has led youth groups, Men, Women, Children, Camps, College groups, and Churches in intense worship throughout his life as a Lead Worshiper. God has taken him to many places in the U.S. to lead others in worship. His passion is to see young and old alike step into a place of worship where the spirit of God is free to move and break our hearts. The Mitch Houston Band has been together for a little over 4 years. It started when Mitch and his wife Krista volunteered at St. Marks Methodist Church in Bethany, OK. St. Marks had started up a new worship service called The Gathering and was looking for a worship leader. Mitch later became the worship minister of the church and began leading in the main service as well. God started a work in their hearts and they moved on from St. Marks in the spring of 2006. Mitch and his wife Krista have a passion to bring the CHURCH together in worship and have started Outcry Worship Ministries. Through Outcry they have founded "Engaged," a community-wide worship service in Oklahoma City, where followers of any background can come and worship their creator.

Yo Mitch! We are doing well. We've been at a revival in the Austin area all week and have seen some people come to know the Lord. Also, we're in the process of recording an EP of four cover songs, which has been a blast so far. I'm pumped about ya'lls tour. Keep us updated about what God is doing while you're on the road. Also, tell us when your new music will be available. Hopefully we'll get to hang with you guys some time in the near future. Peace!

2007 was an awesome year, 2008 has been amazing and my travels have been blessed. I just returned from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing China and the Lord did some amazing things there, you can check out my website and then click on my Road Log, and see what took place with pictures,and a few videos if you want
I pray that God will place in your heart a burning desire to serve him faithfully, to dig deep into His word as you grow stronger each day growing closer to our Lord each day. I pray that God will lift you up to be a mouth piece for Him, sharing of his great Love, Passion and Grace is has for everyone.
Just over 16 years of ministry and it has been mind blowing all that God has allowed me to be apart of. All the awesome people that I have crossed paths with, and so many different countries I have preached, and teched the Word of God and seeing lives changed before my very eyes.
