.. ..How things came to be... ...... Danny asks Matt to play ska music. They contact Andrew, as both have played in bands with him before. Matt's brother, Grady, picks up a trombone second practice and just kinda starts playing. Turns out, Andrew knows another trombone player! Enter: The Duncan. The next week Dubmaster Dan shows up. 3 months into the experiment Andrew moves to NYC because his handytarded ass wants to go to college. We replace shithead with Kyle. Kyle is a much cooler name than Andrew..... As of November 09, we absorbed Charles on Sax. He's 19 - we can mold him. We also brought into the cast the lovely Collett. Collett had practiced with us once before but due to scheduling conflicts, was unable to juggle her movie star life and our struggling band. We are pleased to have her back! ....On June 18th, 2009, The Moderators rocked faces to a sold out crowd at the DC9 - a fantastic first show blending an instrumental mix of Ska and Reggae. One could even see The Pietasters' Steve Jackson dancing in the crowd! By the way, the complete show has already been bootlegged (without the band's knowledge) and is currently available on youtube. At least someone must like us, right?....So that's the history, in case you're interested. Which you're probably not. We hope you enjoy listening to us as much as we like playing!........TSHIRTS ARE ON THE WAY....... Are you looking to book The Moderators? Of course you are!!!
