From the newly established town of ModVille, CO, The ModVillians are a community of artists and activists that together make-up the ModVillian ARTivism Collective. Dissatisfied living in the mold that was created for them, the citizens of ModVille are dedicated to fulfilling their life’s mission by devoting themselves to individuality, art, activism, discipline, precision, innovation and elevation. The ModVillians have agreed to act as a vehicle to freedom for the masses by completely redefining the societal norms and even “reality” as you know it by utilizing unconventional methods and tactics known as ARTivism.
Art: The ModVillians are LIVE art, artists and producers of art. In ModVille the ModVillians don face make-up as a means to set themselves apart from the masses and so they may redefine what is beautiful for themselves as a means to celebrate their individuality. It is their LIVE-STYLE. This make-up shall massage the people and breathe light into the human spirit in preparation for an awakening. The ModVillians utilize every opportunity to create. Everything they do from the make-up on their face, to the clothes they wear, to the fine art photography and CD cover art, to something as simple as their promotional flyers. When you see the ModVillians, your camera is a welcomed part of the experience because the ModVillians want you to make art too.
Activism: The ModVillians are committed to restoring a certain level of tradition and excellence among the people that has been lost. A standard that has affected how human beings present themselves to the world and ultimately how they feel about themselves. The ModVillians are a **Sankofa of sorts: Reaching back is an important vehicle on the road to the recreation of oneself. The ModVillians are activists for the following:

ARTivism: …The spectacle! Artivism combines art and activism in a unique display of rebellious ModVillian expression. It is the showmanship combined with the message. This is often done through silent public appearances and even their art work. Other times it is done by simply living out loud on a daily basis. “We appear in public just as we live our lives”. It is a celebration of the gift of imagination and a constant migration toward freedom.
