Main influence is blues. Then we fuse it with all the music of the world and who we are as people and a band. This is because blues is about the human condition and all people communicate in their own unique way.

There has been a shortage of young female front singers in the blues scene and one woman and her taleneted male counterparts are making up for some lost time with thier energetic and highly unique soul satisfying shows.
The story so far..... Sick of playing as hired guns for others, Waz and Baby legs decided they may as well use their energy to benefit themselves. PLaying own material as well as songs that will put a funky bomb under peoples seats and blow faces clean of skulls. But something was missing, so on a smokey sunday afternoon....
Entered Zoe at just the right time to transform a burley band of rogues and added something warm and nice to zee band aye! Zoe has been gigging around newcastle since adam was a boy, Zoe is a finalists in this years Newcastles 1223 ABC Awards in the blues catergory and has also been nominated as best female vocalist. Her voice described as smooth and soulfull with a twist, if Ray Charles met Etta James at a bar and got there freak on and then produced a love child, that love child would sound like Zoe.
All was great but we needed a beat to fall on so....
As for drummers we've been playing with a few, all with good feel but waiting for someone to commit...
Between the band there is over 40 years gigging experience. Thats millage that just cant be substituted.
Their main focal point is to make original interesting music with a strong live focus at this point. We intend to go into the studio, do a record and continue playing. Zoe K and The Money Shot Band are foccusing on getting into the festival scene such as Byron Blues Fest and other affiliated blues events...
However you can catch Zoe K and The Money Shot Band or members gigging around newcastles thriving live scene if not daily weekly...
So with the help of each other and the great music we get to play and create...
We all live happily ever after as Blues is a feeling not a chord progression and we hope that comes across.

yeah it looks like it gonna be a ripper of a day! The amount of Bands, fans and other sponsors behind the event is amazing and good to see the community pitching in for a very worth cause. Cant wait til December 6th. Thanks for your support for the event!
