The Monitors started as a band in December of 2007. Vikas Pawa (Nowhere Man, The Beating) wanted to rock. He called up Tommy Pritchett (Dog on Fire, Let's English) and Morgan Schlaline (The Croutons, Ten Percenters) to form a rock trio insipred by The Police, Pixies and The Minutemen.
