"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side."
Welcome to the Bronze Age of Punk!
In 1978, a crack rock and roll band was sent to prison by a military court for musical crimes they didn't commit. These people promptly escaped from a minimum security, stinking rehearsal room to the Edinburgh underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as a covers band of (mis)fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them (although the pub would be a good place to start), maybe you can hire... The Montevideo Five!

The gig at the Steamie went well. Nice wee venue. Not very busy but everyone there enjoyed it and the regulars stayed and listened. Even a few got up and danced. They want us to come back which is good news.
