The Moonlight Serenade Orchestra originated in July 1996 with a group of seven to 14 musicians. Over the years, under the direction of Maridia Harrington and since 2004, Bob Tutelman, the group has grown to over thirty musicians, typically playing as a 20-piece ensemble including vocalists. The orchestra plays a wide variety of Big Band Swing sounds as well as Waltzes, Latin Rhythms, Quicksteps, Ballads and Polkas.
We perform every Thursday from 7:00 - 9:30 PM at the Lucky Star Restaurant on the corner of 54th St & University Ave. in San Diego.
