    ..It all started in August 1999, were these four youngsters from a small town in the deep forests of Sweden, decided to form a rockabilly band, which it's name was gonna be 'the Moonstompers'. They started up as a coverband, but as the time went by, they started to make songs of their own and nowadays the songs that they play are mostly selfpenned. In 2003 they released their first longplayer called "Brand new beat" and they also have appeared on several compilation records. 2006 their 2nd album "High Speed Daddy-O" got realesed on the swedish label ENVIKEN RECORDS, and their garage cut of Claudette is being played all over the world! And in 2007 the recent cd is selling quite good and in July, the rhythmguitarist and singer, Tommy Berg decided to leave the band, so from now on when you see the Moonstompers they will be performing as a trio. 2008 they made some recordings which was released in July on their 3rd full length album called "Many Miles Away". In 2009 The Moonstompes celebrated their 10th anniversary as a rocking band and on the 24th of July a 10th anniversary party was held in their hometown Torsby and became a real blast! A couple of months later a 7" vinyl celebration record was released in a limited edition of 200 copies, containing 2 songs from the album "Many Miles Away".. During a cold and snowy weekend in February 2010 a bunch of songs was cut in the studio of Enviken Records which later (the ending of May) was released on the same label, an album called "Well...
