Sounds LikePSYCHNOIR!!! Blending together melodic guitar, powerful drums, atmospheric flute and cello and hypnotic emotionally charged vocals, The Moon Whispers is a strong original band with lyrical depth. Their set is dynamic, ranging from mellow ballads to heavier energetic rock with a dark edge. Offering a visually stimulating performance with elaborate costumes The Moon Whispers music is best described as melancholic inspiring and beautiful.

Hello everybody!
Feel free to be amazed by an extraordinary act of generalized epilepsy, performed by the incredible
EAR MUSCLE DANCERS.

It takes 49 minutes, whereas they're flexing their muscles,
to squeeze you ahead of line.

Hey Y’know Digital Promotion helps the environment AND the economy?

Promoting, selling and creating new revenue streams online requires no manufacturing process, and without physical shipment, creates no “carbon footprint”.

As a musician, digital products and services give you access to a global market, and the value that is created comes back to our local economy. Now you don’t need to have industry contacts - build connections with fans worldwide.

We’re encouraging New Zealand musicians to get out there, get online, and take their creativity to the world. Develop content on your own websites, develop your blog, develop and expand new ways to connect and create opportunities online.

The future for creative New Zealanders is just around the corner. Make sure you’re up to date with the latest online promo news and tips by subscribing to our blog here on myspace

C'era una volta...

Once upon a time there was a band who had a charming drummer. Which they don't have anymore, due to silly old work commitments.

D'you know anyone who would be interested in drumming with us?

Ciao,
Vince.

Hi there
this is the review of the new album DANCE YOUR PAIN AWAY by THE MOON
WHISPERS by THE NZ MUSICIAN

Wow! First impressions and every listen thereafter. This is magical
stuff indeed. The Moon Whispers is the alter ego of Wellington
resident Elisa Di Napoli, and on occasion a duo or 4 piece band.
Elisa's voice is stunning and beautifully layered, and her song
writing and musical ideas are very appealing. Whilst you might be
tempted to slot her into the ethereal, folky, ambient, gothic zone, on
this release Elisa demonstrates broader talents with some great
collaborations with varied composers including Wellington's Amy
Davidson, Francis Heery (Ireland) and The Upbeats (a brilliant
Kosheen-style drum and bass track), as well as her own band. The
production is excellent, particularly the bass and vocal treatments
(shades of Dead Can Dance come to the fore). Ambient, trance and dance
lovers will be entranced. Imagine a phatted-up Loreena McKennit
crossed with Jordan Reyne and you're starting the picture.
"Atmospheric" doesn't even begin to describe the myriad of ambiences
and emotions contained in this beautiful album. Not just entrancing,
it's also made for dancing. Title track is house-style and title says
it all. Mastered at Matrix Studios in Wellington and sounding great.
Ania Glowacz , NZ Musician Dec 2007
