A well-known personality in Sweden for 20 years, Daves performed with Elvis Costello, Dave and the Mistakes, The Boogie Kings, Mick Ronson, Johnny Thunders and more.
During a freak medical accident, a hopped-up surgeon mistakenly swapped Daves vocal-chords with those of Godzilla. This individuals got some serious PIPES! Also, poor Dave comes from a needy family, so, instead of a pacifier Dave, as a baby, got to suck on Dads old Hohner Pro Harp in A.
Besides music, Dave also works with radio, TV, film and media. You dont need to be TALL to be BIG! Dave is a powerful, fun-loving front man, and, a hilarious, entertaining showman. Let the good-times roll!
Hans
Hans, a.k.a, The Captain, is The Master of LOW. Hans has been the backbone of one of the hardest working blues bands in Scandinavia - Blues Bag, for ages. Nobody goes as low as The Captain.
Many consider him the optimal three-piece bass-player. Hans has also worked with Earl Thomas, Alan Haynes and more. Hanss motto is: If you wanna reach the top, you gotta have a working relationship with THE BOTTOM Hes the worlds only 1100 watt, dual-channel Pacemaker.
Thanks to his beard, hes the bass player whose face no one in Moosters has ever seen. Together with Pelle they form a formidable rhythm-section. Theyre so tight its scary, but the thud is provocative.
Kjell
Rumor has it that when God created the Stratocaster he had Kjell (pronounced Shell) in mind, and, as a matter of biblical-fact, He was contemplating calling it The Kjellocaster. Kjell is one of the most respected and awed premier session and tour guitarists in Scandinavia.
Kjell has worked with the artists Ian Hunter, Mick Ronson, Graham Parker and more. Kjell is a true, bone-fide guitar-slinger. Hes so hot youll think hes from another dimension. But, buried deep within this Monsters lies a heart made of solid blue. Youve not seen or heard anything like Kjell before!
Pelle
Pelle is one of Swedens definitive premiere session and tour drummers for over 20 years. Theres a saying around Sweden: If you aint played with Pelle you aint sillbajs. (Sillbajs = Swedish for herring-crap) Pelle is registered in The Guinness World Book of Records as the worlds only existing organic drum-machine.
He hits em very hard and he hits em very true. When hes not performing with Moosters, Pelles in the studio pulling triple-rate or touring with the Swedish super-group Roxette, and, ladies, hes quite the HOTTY!
Close your eyes when you listen to Moosters and theyll take you down to a traditional rock joint like Buddy Guys Legends in Chicago or Antones in Austin, Texas.
Youre gonna get excited. Youre gonna feel it. A word of warning: Strap on your safety belt because, friend, Moosters is gonna TEAR IT UP! You'll hear no sleepy-time blues with Moosters. It's all steamin hot and rocking. We are talking SHOW! Swedens best Rock n Blues quartet is formed by four accredited, professional musicians, who need to play the music they love straight from their hearts and feel it thump deep down in their guts.
BIO
Moosters was formed in 2002 by four old friends who all had a love for blues in common. Initially they were just planning to do one show at a party. But after rehearsing a while and playing that gig they all felt that this was something serious!
Later that year they got in contact with people from the festival On The Waterfront, the largest music festival in the state of Illinois, who invited the band to play the festival in the summer of 2003. On top of that the festival also helped the band book a short 8-gig tour around Illinois. So in the summer of 2003 Moosters took the Blues back home!
Moosters really rocked in the States, and the Americans were very enthusiastic about Moosters and their music. They were immediately invited for another tour in 2004, with 2 larger festivals and 8 club gigs.
It was sometime in-between the two US tours that Moosters started to write their own material and the thoughts of making an album started forming. Moose went into the studio and recorded what will become their full length debut Executioner. Due to be released in the first half of 2006. The band also got themselves a manager to help them in their career.
The album called "Executioner" was released by the band themselves through the distributor TMC and entered into the album charts of Sweden at position 47. They are now booking gigs for the spring/summer and have started to make plans for a second album due to be released in the second half of 2007.
