Bio:

.. Hi, my name's Morti. Well... not really.

I'm 24, I'm a student, I'm a christian and I'm no good at writing in the third person (as I understand is tradition for these things) so let's chat properly.

Seven years ago I picked up my girlfriend's guitar and started messing around with it while waiting for her to do girly things like hair and tidying. Look at that, in one sentence I eliminated about half my potential audience! Don't worry, I'm equally cynical about men.

Anyway, seven years later (i.e. now) I can actually play the thing (although not her guitar, I got my own). I've also been into songwriting for about the same amount of time. I've always played bits of my songs to my dad over the years and since he finally had something positive to say about what I've written recently (he's very critical but this is entirely a good thing) I've decided to start releasing stuff.

And I hope you like it, basically. I've spent many an hour in my study recording, mixing and producing all the music I've done and will continue to do so. The ultimate objective is to glorify God with it but most of the music I've released has been written to be heard by anyone, regardless of faith, and be generally inoffensive so don't let my lifetime membership of the God squad put you off.

If you're really interested in who I am then either buy my album (when it's out) or Internet-stalk me. I recommend both, since net-stalking is a fine hobby and good for your inter-personal relationship skills (that last bit might be a lie).

So sit down, relax, let me tell you some stories and hopefully the two of us can get to know each other a little better.
