This could get long....I got some hidden thug in me, so gimme my Ice Cube, DJ Quik, NWA, 2Pac, and the like...basically all the rap/hip hop from the late 80's to mid 90's. Then, when I wanna be more mature, come wit' the Teena Marie, George Benson, Jeffrey Osborne, Peabo Bryson, Patti Austin, Luther Vandross. When it's time to just plain old have me some fun, I take it to another level wit' Ready for the World, Cameo, ConFunkShun, Alexander O'Neal, Bobby Brown, Keith Sweat, Force MD's...I'm really an old school girl, and today's music don't really rock my world. Too much other music in my collection to name. Oh, but don't be fooled--I'm also very versatile. My music collection is full of surprises.
Books
Terry McMillan's 'Disappearing Acts' is my all time favorite. I've never read a book as many times as that one. All Eric Jerome Dickey books. The other is my own book, One Man's Treasure. It's my first novel, and my pride and joy. I love to read whatever catches my eye and can keep my attention for more than three pages. ..

.. Love to chat it up; write books, poetry, songs; create, cook, and laugh till my ribs are sore. Pool is my favorite sport (yes, gentlemen, it IS a sport); I'm a bit of a closet singer, and I love movies, music and reading. I'm always interested in learning about new things and going places I've never been. I've been told I'm one of the coolest people ever. I guess I agree. I'm a bit moody, not the easiest person to figure out, and I'm one of those people who, once you're my friend (and I mean a real friend, not an acquaintance), you can expect to be treated like royalty by me, because, well, that's what I expect from my friends, and I feel that people SHOULD be treated like royalty. I have no patience for ignorance, stupidity, simpletons (you know ...those people who make you go, "What the F---K is wrong with you??? Get away from me!"), dishonesty, and people who attempt to insult my intelligence. Oh, people who insult my intelligence...that is SO the quickest way to get "broke off" by me. And lemme tell you, you don't ever wanna get broke off by me...it will change your life...and maybe not in a good way. I'm a Leo, and if pushed too far, you WILL hear my ROAR, and it will either shatter your eardrums or your ego. Ask my ex, who's probably still reeling from "The Big Cuss-out of 2003." (For the record, I have NEVER been that angry at anyone in my entire life). I'm a VERY private person, but will definitely let the right people into my space bubble, provided they're not crazy, mentally unstable, control freaks (because I will NEVER, EVER be controlled, so don't even try it!), or lacking the drive to be or do something special in life. I'm trying to go places and do great things, and if you're not...well, you'll get left behind. I'm not a "sugarcoater," so some people are a bit taken aback by my honesty, and then still some are amused. All in all, if given my due respect, you'll never have a problem out of me.
