HELEN EVERTON Helen has extensive experience in the sacred and musical field. She is a member of the choir of St Botolph's Bishopgate in London where she regularly sings for weddings and memorials. Her opera experience includes the roles of Belinda - Dido and Aeneas (Purcell), Bianca - Rape of Lucretia (Britten) and Pamina - The Magic Flute (Mozart). Her musicals experience experience spans My Fair Lady, Blondel, The King and I and Cabaret. Oratorio performances include, Messiah (Handel), Magnificat (Bach). Gloria (Vivaldi), Esther (Handel) and Requiem (Mozart).
PHILLIPPA LAY Phillippa gained her singing qualifications from Colchester Institute School of Music and practices the three major disciplines of song, opera and oratorio. After graduating she played the title role in the Channel 4 opera - When She Died, Death of a Princess (Dove/Harsent), first broadcast in August 2002. Her oratorio experience includes Acis and Galatea (Handel), Mass in C Minor (Mozart), Vespers (Mozart) and Mass in B Minor (Bach).
ANGELIC VOICES
Phillippa and Helen met singing in the choir of St James Sussex Gardens, London and subsequently in Holy Trinity Church, Reading. They perform regularly in recitals, concerts and in oratorio performances accompanied by orchestra. They have regular accompanists with whom they work and can provide organists or pianists if required.
