The Motherhive Syndicate is an original band of gangsters from Madison, WI, blending a unique blend of aggressive rock, funk, jazz, metal and groove with intelligent lyrics to challenge the mind and move the soul. Comprised of members from other notable Madison and Milwaukee area rock bands, including: Rapscallion, Hazmat, Chemical Smile and El Donk.
Influences: Gov’t Mule, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Incubus, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Soundgarden, Janes Addiction, Primus, Blind Melon, Tool, Tom Waits, Faith No More, Dream Theater, Frank Zappa, Emerson Lake & Palmer, and the Reverend Horton Heat, to name a few.
