MSF recently supported Nashville's answer to Nickelback and came out safely on the other side - a harrowing experience that would dictate the end of most bands - but MSF are still here to tell the tale.
Over the past year Morrison Steam Fayre have developed naturally and diligently into a mature, fresh and unpretentious band. With shows in London, New York and a triumphant performance at 2008’s Truck Festival all under their belt, MSF have gathered a discerning set of fans.
Reid and Aaron had existed under the name Morrison Steam Fayre for some time, and in early-2007 were joined by Tomer on drums - who had just parted ways with New York band Robbers On High Street - and by Dan, who prior to that had been plying his trade in various bands and as a session musician. After a few spells in the rehearsal studio, it was evident that this combination would work really well – a complimentary style formed very quickly, and above all else there was a sense that they had paid their dues over the years. Thus there’s never been any ego or “attitude”, just solid musicianship, a compelling and energetic live show, as well as a passionate ear for a song.
Live, they are joined by Pete Roe on the keys who regularly tours with Laura Marling as well as being a talented song-writer himself. The live shows are invigorating and skilful, with Reid’s soaring vocals complimenting Dan’s complex but playful riffs; while all this is backed up by Aaron’s soulful bass and Tomer’s solid, up-tempo beats.
‘Time Will Tell’ is a new recording that was produced in the UK and New York – a piano-driven track that jaunts through Reid’s rock ‘n’ roll lyrical musings in stylish fashion. “Time will tell, time will teach you well” – now is the time to discover this band for yourself.

Hi Reid, and all the guys! I wish I could see you play in NYC, but I just started working at a new company. Oh, I'd love to see you all!Hope you come back and come out over here. Im looking forward to hearing all about your experience!
Hey! Hope you are doing good. I wanted to let you know about a show i'm doing in London on Sunday, June 1st.
I'm touring with Tommy Allsup. He played guitar with Buddy Holly, and is the guy playing on songs like "Heartbeat", "It's So Easy", etc, etc.....he is 76 and still going strong.
He is a character.
Anyway, i would love to see you at the show. I think as a fellow musician that you will really appreciate seeing Tommy play, and listening to his stories! He is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens.
If you want to see Tommy in action....check out my blog. There is a video from last week in Nashville from the studio.
Take care, the music is sounding great, and i hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
Kevin Montgomery
