The S.T.R.I.P. Clique is more than a group of rappers they are a group of talented individuals that rap, act, write, produce, and represent the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area to the fullest. The S.T.R.I.P. consists of Da Kandyman, Tha Show, Mr. G-Rock, Fessah tha Pro, Infimis, Edvice, Skeet, Main Attracktion, Country Boy, Young Black, L-Boogie and J. Earl. Shouts out to Kmac and Joe Bird who are always featured on anything and everything The S.T.R.I.P. drops. The S.T.R.I.P. was formed In 2001 by Mr. G-Rock, who is the S.T.R.I.P.'s main producer, when he gathered the most talented rappers and producers in the Inland Empire and formed The S.T.R.I.P. Clique, a local rap posse consisting of 12 members. In April 2005 Da Kandyman released the S.T.R.I.P. Clique’s first musical effort independently entitled " The City's Behind Me" in which he and The S.T.R.I.P. managed to sell 10,000 copies by hustling hard and performing at venues in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles. In 2006 The S.T.R.I.P. opened for acts like Suga Free, The Pack, The Alcoholiks, Brown Boy, Bubba Sparxx, and Too Short which allowed them to gain recognition from major recording artists. On April 3rd 2007 following the success of “The City’s Behind Me” Da Kandyman independently released his 2nd LP entitled "Welcome 2 Da S.T.R.I.P.” which out sold his previous effort by thousands. With two albums under the S.T.R.I.P. Clique’s belt they are still not getting the recognition they deserve. On April 28th 2009 Da Kandyman and Tha Show will be releasing an album together entitled “Split Personality” with top production from Mr. G-Rock, Dick Tracy, and Country Boy. “Split Personality” features the singles "I Wanna See" and "She Left Me Lonely" which are getting numerous plays on Myspace.com and in the streets. With the release of “Split Personality” Da Kandyman and Tha Show hope to get the record deal they deserve, while they continue to gain fans across the Inland Empire and the world. Da Kandyman is also currently producing and starring in a straight to DVD film entitled “Uncle Rufus House,” also starring Mr. G-Rock, Tha Show, Young Black aka Kenny Marshall, and the entire S.T.R.I.P. Clique which will be out summer 2009. Tha Show is running his black owned independent website www.stripteez.org, which sells women’s T-shirts and tank tops, while Mr. G-Rock has a mixtape in the works "From Cali to Memphis" due out August 2009 and is making beats for artists all over the world on his way to join the ranks of Timbaland and other top notch producers.
