Located in beautiful downtown Portsmouth, NH The Muddy River (Downstairs) and the Smokehouse lounge (upstairs) have been offering live music to the Portsmouth community for over 15 years. We would like to let you know about some exciting changes we are currently undergoing.
The Smokehouse and upstairs lounge will continue to offer amazing barbecue with additional entertainment. Please see our upcoming schedule!
Downstairs at the Muddy River is currently undergoing renovations to become a pizza pub. It promises to be a relaxing, affordable place to enjoy pizza and beer, with games, music, tvs and fun for all! We hope you will all come check out the finished product!
While we will no longer be able to host the many great bands we have had the pleasure to meet throughout the years, we will continue to provide music and entertainment both upstairs and downstairs. If you are a local musician interested in playing accoustic music, please feel free to contact us, as there are some openings in our entertainment schedule.
