The Munchies emerged from a Peabody, Massachesetts high school gym class in the fall of 2001 with Dan Levy on vocals/guitar, Jon Brennan on vocals/bass, and Nick Brecken on drums. With influences from Nofx, Rancid, The Offspring, Goldfinger, Green Day, Bad Religion and The Suicide Machines, and the 2005 addition of long time friend, and Local Tough Guy singer/guitarist, Steve Partaledis, this quartet of Boston boozer suburbanites is taking on the power punk scene one social hall benefit at a time between thirty packs of Pabst Blue Ribbon and handles of Southern Comfort.
