***DEBUT 6-TRACK EP "THE MURDERHOUSE" NOW AVAILABLE ON iTUNES WORLDWIDE!***
"It's a joy to find that this relatively new trio are oozing potential in spades, the garage rock rumble of David Martin's four-string and Wayne Miller's sprightly drumming neatly offset by Suzy Bradley's pure, clean vocals, while the lyrics suggest dark depths and violent moods. The Murderhouse sound exciting, fresh and original. Maybe it's just refreshing to hear a band not in thrall to current trends, maybe a woman singer naturally stands out amid the bloke-rock hordes, but this is definitely one of the best demos I've heard for a long time." - The Talk Magazine, York, Jan 2007 issue.
"A fuzz bass intro leads into a BRMC rumble, offset by their secret weapon, the switchblade vocals of Suzy Bradley... The band add a bit of punk attitude to these Nick Cave-like mood songs... The attitude, drive and musicianship seem to be all present and correct... we may have an exciting prospect on our hands." - Playmusic Magazine, Issue 3.
"Take two ex-members of post-punkers Red:Shift and add the haunting voice of Suzy Bradley and you've got something very special, that swings between noisy guitarless Wire-rock and crisp PJ Harvey-style balladeering. Make sure you catch them live or pick up their demo without delay" - The Fly.
"Fuzzzed-up rock and noir-ish balladry" - Time Out, London.
"One of the highlights of the night was the female-fronted The Murderhouse's aggressive acoustic attack... A dark and brooding culmination of musical styles" - Sandman Magazine, Leeds.
"The Murderhouse are all about full-on ear-assaulting filthy minimalist rock, with a vocal that you wouldn't want to meet down a dark alley" - whisperinandhollerin.co.uk
The Murderhouse formed in early 2006, after a late-night conversation between ex-Red:Shift guitarist David Martin and Bloody Marys drummer Wayne Miller about forming a two-piece bass/drums band with a simple mission .. playing fast and furious filthy rock inspired by the likes of Death From Above 1979 and Queens Of The Stone Age. However, things took an unexpected turn when they hooked up with singer/songwriter Suzy Bradley, who had been plying her trade on the acoustic circuit, and brought her remarkable voice and dark folk and blues-influenced songwriting to the band.
The combination worked immediately, and The Murderhouse played their debut gig within a few weeks of meeting Suzy for the first time.
Since then, they have toured the UK, including regular shows in London, various festivals, and a recent visit to Northern Ireland, and in summer 2007 they ventured across the Atlantic for the first time to play a series of very successful dates in New York. Their gigs and recordings have been acclaimed by national and regional music press, and they have also made several radio appearances.

Charlie Parr is from the same Duluth music scene that spawned the likes of Low and Haley Bonar, and his music delves deep into the back roads of American folk music, there’s hints of Robert Johnson, Nick Drake and Will Oldham in his playing, and a true from the heart power and clarity that is simply stunning. This guy is the real thing, and you can hear it in every note he plays, which would also explain why the people at the superb End of the Road festival ask him back every single year!
Neil McSweeney plays beautifully considered and perfectly restrained music that will delight fans of Low, Adrian Crowley, Nina Nastasia, Mark Kozelek, and Jason Molina.
Deftly fingerpicked folk loveliness from a local favourite - Michael Rossiter perfectly executes traditional folk as well as his own material, sings from his heart and gets the perfect sound from his guitar.

This month sees Moon Harbour label head MATTHIAS TANZMANN join us at KALEIDA / RESONATE, this promises to be an amazing showcase of some of the best deep house and techno out there at the moment...
From the beginning Matthias' musical output has revolved around more than just functional club music. Combining subtle arrangements that ride the deep vibes that lie between House and Techno, yet never forgetting the drive for the dance floor- that is what Matthias Tanzmann’s music is about.
If you seen this guy in action at the now infamous Circo Loco Parties at dc10 terrace in Ibiza you wiill know that it's not to be missed...
Also on the bill is one of Belfast's most in demand DJs, SEÑOR G, with his slick blend of jackin' house cuts...
