The Murphy’s are a family group that is all about ministry. The group consists of Danny Murphy, his wife Max Murphy, their daughter Rikki and her husband RC and their youngest daughter Barb. Together they deliver the powerful message of the gospel through word and song that engage audiences of all ages.
Max does most of the lead vocals. She has a deep soulful voice and she is also a talented songwriter. Her family roots run deep in Gospel Music and the Ministry. Her Grandmother and her aunts, known as "The Parker Sisters", sang and preached revivals for years. Max began singing at the early age of five and traveled with her Grandmother throughout her childhood, singing and playing piano in revival meetings.
The Murphy girls Rikki and Barb,along with RC sing backup and also do some lead vocals. From a very early age, music and ministry has been a huge part of their everyday lives. They have a great anointing on them which shines through every time they sing.
Danny was raised in Oneida, Kentucky. He sings, preaches and drives the bus for the group. Being raised in the hills of Kentucky, Danny has more of a country, singing style and he adds alot of variety to the Murphys ministry.
Danny and Max are both ministers and have worked together for several years, ministering as evangelists. They both continue to minister when they are not singing.
The Murphys are excited about taking their music ministry to the next level and they are looking forward to walking through the doors that God has opened. Together their goal is to be a blessing to others, to help make peoples hearts a little lighter and most of all, to lead them to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Hey Guys~ Been to long since I've dropped by the new songs loaded up are awesome. You flat out sing Long as I got King Jesus along with all your songs but that is one of my favorites~ Hope all is going well. I keep ya'll close in prayer. Praise God, I just love you guys when things just dont seem to go right then all you need to do is Call on Jesus, He said call on me and I will be there, WOOOOO and you know he is always there can't seem to get rid of him, Praise God thats what I like to have someone who will be there till the end. Even when I cant get things done right or I slip up Our Lord Jesus is always there to pick you up and carry you through all heart acks. I Just really Love you guys.
Hey Max, I'm so glad I finally met you in person. The Homecoming was wonderful and you all are awesome my friend..Brother Danny preached an awesome message too. I know we'll be seeing more of you in the future.. Everyone at church enjoyed you all, especially my Pator and his wife. You are all awesome and great Ministers for the Lord too.
